Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park is just where you need to be if you would like to experience the prettiest campgrounds in Santa Cruz. The park is sheltered under trees and has some very spectacular surroundings. The sheltering trees in this place include pines and oaks. But the redwoods are not far off, with the largest of them standing at whooping 277 feet and 16 feet wide.

The Henry Cowell Redwoods has more than 107 sites that can accommodate both tents and RVs. Also, if you like, you can camp in your car. The campsite is capable of providing camper vehicles that are at least 35 feet long and 31 feet long trailers.
There is also another small area that is set aside for bicycle campers, and we have four more sites that are ADA accessible. The campsites at Henry Cowell are within sight of each other. However, they are not too close together that you may end up feeling like you are sleeping with other people in the area.

In the campsite, you will get real restrooms that have coin-operated showers and flush toilets. What’s more, every campsite has a fire ring and a picnic table. However, there is no water spigot. As for the firewood to make your campfires, you can buy at the park. There is no need to carry your own.
And the fact that there are no water hookups in the area ensure you bring a container to carry your water. All in all, two close-by sites have a water fill station and an RV dump which are; The New Brighton State Beach and Big Basin State Park.
